Business organizations and professional unions against the ideas of the government for changes in the pension system

Many professional unions and almost all employer organizations declared they are definitely against the idea to make it possible to transfer the funds in the Universal Pension Fund UPF into the National Insurance Fund. In a unprecedented mutual declaration the Association of Industrial Capital, the Bulgarian Association of Companies for Additional Pension Insurance, the Bulgarian Association of Licensed Investment Brokers, the Bulgarian Association of management companies, the Association of companies with special investment purposes, the Association of Directors for relations with investors in Bulgaria declared against the initiated changes. The declaration was supported also by the Association of Banks in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and the Bulgarian Trade  and the Bulgarian Trade Chamber also declared in their declarations against the idea of the Minister of finance Vladislav Goranov. Only the Confederation of Employers and Industrial Capital in Bulgaria took an unclear position - initially it supported the changes, then declared against and finally asked for additional time till March 31, 2015 to discuss the changes.
