The EU will invest 300 billion euros to reduce its energy dependence on Russia

The European Commission (EC) is proposing a plan to diversify energy supplies, speed up the introduction of renewable energy sources and save energy. A new energy platform will allow joint energy purchases through pooling of orders and coordinated negotiations with suppliers.
