Outsourcing sector in Bulgaria continues to grow and in 2018

Over 500 companies are operating in the outsourcing sector in Bulgaria in 2018. They form about 3% of the employed and 5% of Bulgaria's GDP. While maintaining this positive trend, by 2021 the relative share of outsourcing in the GDP of Bulgaria is expected to reach 8 % and the number of employees in it to be over 80 000. Half of the companies have Bulgarian owners and foreign owners most are from the UK, USA, Germany and the Netherlands.
