China replaced profit tax with VAT

China introduced VAT on all sectors of the economy and repealed corporate tax. The last sectors for which VAT was introduced on 1 May were construction, real estate, finance and services related to life. China hopes the tax reform can save 77 billion dollars to the business and to promote economic growth.
